Amy graduated from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1994. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Stetson University in 1997 and was admitted to the Florida Bar the same year. While at law school, she was a student Legal Research and Writing Assistant and clerked for Circuit Court Judge Thomas E. Penick, Jr.
